BOPA

BOPA is the British Oncology Pharmacy Association. The stated purpose of BOPA, which is a registered charity, is "To promote excellence in the pharmaceutical care of patients with cancer through education, communication, research and innovation by an alliance of hospital, community and academic pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, those in the pharmaceutical industry and other healthcare professionals".

Succinct Healthcare Communications and Consultancy is proud to be the BOPA Secretariat, responsible for both the BOPA membership and the running of the association’s meetings, including their study days and residential symposia. The latter is an annual event that is extremely well attended by individual members of BOPA and the pharmaceutical industry.

This year's annual symposium will take place from 17—19th October, 2008 at the Arena and Conference Centre, Liverpool. More details will follow shortly.
